SA Health Community Wellbeing & Resilience Grants

The Community Wellbeing & Resilience Grants program is part of the Open Your World – Statewide Wellbeing Strategy which supports the South Australian Government’s goal to build community resilience and support wellbeing in relation to the impacts and recovery from COVID-19.

Applications for the grants are now open and close on Friday 17 July 2020.

Funding of between $10,000 and $100,000 is available for Local Government, Non-Government Organisations and community organisations for community-based projects that contribute to the wellbeing and resilience of South Australians, with an emphasis on mental, physical (activity and nutrition) and/or social wellbeing.

Project proposals should be consistent with the principles of the Statewide Wellbeing Strategy and demonstrate a clear focus on a group or groups who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, including those outlined in the Open Your World – Statewide Wellbeing Strategy.

Funding is available for the 2020-21 financial year only, with all grant funds to be expended by 30 June 2021.  The Grants, administered by Wellbeing SA are not designed to support existing programs or services, or for service delivery to individuals, but are to support new initiatives that contribute to community wellbeing and resilience in response to COVID-19.

If you are a member or connected with an eligible organisation and have an idea for a project, you are encouraged to consider applying.

Further information is available in the Grant Guide and application form, which can be found at
