Network for CALD Ageing Services

26 September @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Multicultural Aged Care invites you to take the opportunity to engage with other service providers and guest speakers.

In recent months we, at MAC, have been asked a number of questions. Some we can answer others we will bring in the knowledge experts.

Are you wondering:

What is happening in the Carer space? What’s happening in SA? Who will be the providers in 2020 and beyond? How will the changes affect your organisation? How will CALD consumers and their carers be affected.
How to contribute to the Royal Commission?
What’s happening at the National level in aged and community care?
What are some NACA priorities?
Will CALD community groups continue to be supported to deliver services?
How will CALD responsive services continue to be delivered?
When will the directions for the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) activities from 2020 be clearer?
How to better address the Grandfathering of clients?
How to manage the QR processes particularly regarding the delivery of CHSP Services?

The Network for CALD Ageing Services is scheduled for Thursday, 26 September from 3:00pm

Guest speakers and topics include:

  • CarersSA will be there to provide an update on CARER programs.
  • FECCA resources and toolkits to assist participating in the Royal Commission will be available
  • Western Linkages
  • Other guest speakers to be confirmed

The Network for CALD Ageing Services (NCAS) is recommended for managers and workers in programs which provide information and aged and community care services to CALD older people.
